No need to tow your boat with several boat rental companies to serve you. Or, not the boat captain type? There is quite a selection of highly skilled fishing guides and charters, both inshore and offshore to guarantee a trophy or an exceptional meal over the fire. Don’t worry, we have excellent seafood restaurants for the “glampers” in your group!
The Crystal Coast, also known as the Southern Outer Banks, was settled by brave and adventurous fisherman and whalers that dotted our many islands yet was originally discovered by notorious pirates such as the famous Blackbeard. Be sure to check out this incredible history at three unique attractions: The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum in Harkers Island, the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort and Fort Macon State Park in Atlantic Beach. Learn more about those individuals that walked the very ground you will be camping on during your visit. You never know, there may even be a pirate's bounty under your tent!
